Stress hardy individuals are such good stress copers because of the way they think!
You can learn and practice these thinking strategies too.
This evening workshop provides practical, research-based information and tips,
along with a variety of approaches for you to begin experimenting in everyday situations.
YOU WILL LEARN :

how closely your current thought habits align with the thinking patterns that are most strongly associated with resilience
- ways to tackle the worry loops and shift them to constructive action planning

the cognitive / thinking strategies that increase
stress hardiness,
the growth mindset,
recovery from adversity,
and thriving despite the pressure of challenging situations/circumstances
DATE, TIME, and LOCATION :
This two hour educational, skills-oriented workshop meets on
Wednesday, JUNE 4, 2025
from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
ON-LINE
(this will be a virtual workshop via Zoom)
FEE :
- $ 5 for University of Guelph students (due to a subsidy from U of G Student Health Services)
- $ 20 for members of United Steelworkers Local 4120 (due to a subsidy from Local 4120)
- $ 37 for all others
Payment is on-line (or by cheque or e-transfer, if pre-arranged)

The Resilient Thinking Strategies workshop, or selected topics from this workshop, can be provided on-site at your workplace or community group site. A 30-60 minute Lunch & Learn session can also be provided. Call the Stress Management and High Performance Clinic at 519 824-4120, ext. 52662 to make arrangements for sessions at your location.
- Make an appointment for private training :
Any of the Resilient Thinking Strategies topics listed above can be provided in private, one-to-one training sessions. Daytime, late afternoon, and evening times are available on weekdays throughout the year.
